My PC CD-ROM drive does not see my SONiVOX disk.
We format all our Kurzweil CD-ROMs as native Kurzweil disks, which
are not strictly ISO9660 (PC) format. This is to ensure
compatibility with older models of Kurzweil samplers. Because of
this most PCs won't be able to read the disk. If you really want
your PC to read your Kurzweil CD-ROM, you can always copy all the
files to a hard disk that is ISO9660 formatted by either performing
a Backup function in Disk Mode, or manually loading and saving all
the files. Then burn the contents of that ISO9660 disk using a
CD-ROM burner.
I'm getting a "not enough memory" error when loading my Drum
Implants.
Most of the .K25 files on the Drum Series 1 CD-ROM require the PRAM
Option in order to load the entire file at once. However, this does
not stop users without the PRAM Option to use these sounds! All you
need to do is select OPEN instead of LOAD in Disk Mode when getting
ready to load. Then manually select the programs you wish to load.
If you continue to get "not enough memory" errors, reduce the number
of programs you're trying to load at the same time AND/OR get rid of
some of the programs, setups, songs, etc. you've got already loaded
into your unit. Better yet, get the PRAM Option! With that, you'll
be able to load tons of programs!
