The Guqin is a seven-stringed instrument that originated in China over 3,000 years ago. It has an incredibly pure, sonorous tone quality well-suited for melodies and pad textures. In ancient times, it was typically used to create a feeling of spiritual aesthetics during ritual ceremonies.
